  1. When partner leads in a trump game with an eight
  2. or lower, I do one of the following:

  4. 1. My first priority is to win the trick if
  5. possible.  I play to win the trick with my
  6. lowest equivalent card (dummy excluded).

  8. 2. Even if it is unlikely that I can win the
  9. trick, I play to beat dummy and possibly promote
  10. a winner in my hand or partner's.  Again I play
  11. my lowest equivalent card excluding dummy.

  13. 3.  If dummy plays the ace and I have the king,
  14. or dummy plays the king and I have the queen, I
  15. show a positive attitude.  Otherwise I play bottom
  16. if I can't beat dummy except when dummy becomes
  17. void.

  19. 4. If dummy becomes void, I play suit preference if
  20. I cannot play higher than dummy.
